Overhead Door has introduced a new wall console for the Odyssey and Destiny series garage door openers.
This new wall console offers several improvements including:
• Revised vacation lock switch to reduce accidental activations
• New quick reference programming card to aid homeowners with simple programming tasks
• Strengthened casing material to improve the durability of the wall console
The previous vacation lock was engaged by pressing a lock button. This simple step caused problems because homeowners would accidentally push the button, activate the lock out feature and as a result the door would not open. By changing the button to a switch, this type of confusion will be minimized in the future.
A quick reference programming card has also been added and is located in the upper left hand corner of the wall console. This reference guide helps homeowner’s program remote controls. Other programming procedures such as limit and sensitivity adjustments are not included in the quick reference guide but are still included with the owner’s manual.
