Overhead Door is pleased to announce our performance enhancement to the Destiny 1500, DC Direct Drive Screw garage door opener. This unit was previously rated at a ¾ HPc* Power Plus unit. Through further testing and validation, this unit has passed the requirements for a full 1 HPc unit, meaning that the Destiny 1500 at 1 Horsepower comparable (HPc) meets Overhead Door’s lifting force specification for a 1 horsepower garage door opener.
In addition to the 1HPc DC motor the Destiny 1500 includes the following features:
Speed - Enjoy the convenience of a maximum opening speed of up to 12 inches per second
Auto Seek Frequency Range - The opener listens for both the 315 or 390 MHz frequency emitted by the remote or wireless keypad, allowing reliable operation even in areas with frequency interference.
Door Detect Monitoring and Diagnostics Technology - Delivers the optimal amount of power needed to efficiently and smoothly open even the heaviest garage doors.
Maintenance Free - Direct drive system means no gears, chains or belts to wear out. Also no lubrication is needed.
Automotive Convenience Features - Compatible with Homelink and Car2U systems.
